The Second Chance Fund has been a part of many great success stories over the years. While we would love to feature each and every one, we're happy to say that there are just too many to post! Here are a few stories to help give you an idea of just what The Second Chance Fund is all about.
Bart is a friendly, affectionate, young adult cat who was brought to Lodi Vet after getting caught in a fan belt of a truck. Bart was admitted into the Second Chance Fund and it was determined that the injuries to his front leg were so severe that emergency surgery was required to save his life. The only option was to amputate his leg. Bart is recovering well and despite his situation, he has remained an affectionate and friendly three-legged kitty Bart has since found his forever home and is enjoying life to the fullest!
Nova is a sweet little 7 week old kitten who was found dodging traffic in Harmony Grove, WI. During her initial exam it was determined that she was permanently blind from a severe infection. After surgically removing both of her eyes she was relieved of all pain and is on the road to recovery. Nova is a playful little kitten who loves food and toys! She is adjusting tremendously well as a kitten with no eyesight and is thriving in her new home!
